Epilepsy ACT relies heavily upon volunteers and seeks those who may wish to assist with one or more of the following roles.

Every March we ask for volunteers to help sell merchandise and raise awareness to help us to #MakeMarchPurple.  Can you spare a few hours or a day to help this March?

Walk for Epilepsy 2024

If you would like to discuss other volunteering opportunities, please complete the form below

  • Guest Speakers – assist with profiling Epilepsy ACT, gaining sponsorship or donations whilst presenting appropriate epilepsy-related messages to targeted community groups.
  • Support Group Facilitator – Epilepsy ACT run self-help support groups for people with Epilepsy and their family and friends. We have an ongoing volunteer role for a group facilitator.
  • Fundraising Volunteers – participate in fundraising activities within your community. Your enthusiasm in generating much-needed funds is very much appreciated.
  • Peer Support – participate by sharing your personal experience with members in similar situations.
  • Special Projects – assist with operating/participating in short term projects, such as events, task forces and focus groups.
