Epilepsy ACT offers a wide range of training to individuals, organisations and community groups in the ACT and surrounding areas. All of our trainers have the appropriate qualifications to deliver these programs and have extensive experience in epilepsy and its management.

Epilepsy ACT offers the following training:

Workplace Training

Epilepsy ACT provides responsive information and education services to community organisations, health and welfare groups, businesses, education providers, students and any other group where a need is identified. For more information go to our workplace training page.

Community Education & Training

The Association provides in-house training to individuals who wish to gain a better understanding of epilepsy and seizure types as well as fist aid and epilepsy treatments. These community education workshops are run 6 times a year. For more information please see our community education page.

Emergency Medication Training

Midazolam is an emergency medication that is used in the control of seizures.  It is a restricted medication that has been approved for community use in certain situations and always prescribed by a Doctor.  Training is provided to organisations and individuals who work with people that are prescribed this or other emergency seizure medication.
