Purple Day is the highlight of our National Awareness Month for epilepsy in March. It means different things for different people.

We’d love to know why you’re Going Purple during March and what you’ll be doing. By sharing why we Go Purple, we can help break down the misconceptions associated with epilepsy and help build people’s understanding. It also helps others living with epilepsy, their families and friends feel like they are not alone.

We’ve made sharing #MyWhy for Purple Day easy by putting together some Facebook cover photos. Please change your Facebook cover photo for the month of March. You could use one that you relate to for the month, or change your cover photo each week. If you’re comfortable sharing your epilepsy story at the same time that will also make a big difference.
